These terms govern your use of this website and any patient-advocacy consultation you book. The service is provided by Resonance Insights GmbH on behalf of Amanda Alcodia, Patient Advocate. By using this site or engaging the service, you agree to these terms.
The service
Patient advocacy here means education, preparation, and navigation support: helping you understand the healthcare and insurance systems, organize documents, prepare questions, and advocate for yourself. As set out in the Disclaimer, it is not medical, legal, insurance, or financial advice, and no professional-client relationship of that kind is created.
Consultations, fees, and billing
- The 15-minute introductory call is free and carries no obligation.
- Paid work is billed at the published hourly rate ($150/hour launch rate), tracked to the minute and not rounded up.
- Before any paid work begins, you receive a written scope with a not-to-exceed estimate, and no work starts or is billed until you approve it.
- Invoices include an itemized time log. Payment terms and accepted methods are set out on your invoice. [Confirm your invoicing terms, currency, and any applicable VAT here.]
- You may stop at any time. There is no retainer, subscription, or minimum block.
Your responsibilities
To help you well, I rely on the information you provide being accurate and complete. You remain responsible for your own decisions and for consulting licensed professionals (clinicians, attorneys, insurers) where appropriate. You agree to use the free guides and any materials for your own personal use.
Confidentiality
What you share is treated as confidential and used only to provide the service. Anonymized examples are only ever used publicly with your explicit consent. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Intellectual property
The content, guides, wordmark, and design of this site are owned by Resonance Insights GmbH / Amanda Alcodia and may not be copied, resold, or redistributed without permission. You may use the free guides for your own personal, non-commercial purposes.
No guarantee of outcome; limitation of liability
Outcomes depend on many factors outside anyone's control, and no specific result is promised. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability arising from the website or the service is limited to the fees you paid for the specific engagement giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
